D157-C Education Foundation Plans Virtual Casino Night

The virtual doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with a variety of casino games from 7 to 10 p.m., on April 23.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort 157-C Education Foundation will hold its fifth annual casino night on April 23. The virtual doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with a variety of casino games from 7 to 10 p.m., followed by a raffle, according to the district.

Money raised has been used to purchase items like relax and read areas in the library, digital cameras for technology classes, SMART boards, author visits, and more, the district said.

The foundation was created in 1995 by parent volunteers. According to the district, the foundation raises funds to support teacher-written grants for projects and materials in the areas of art, literacy, technology, math, physical education, science, social studies, and character-building programs. To date, the Education Foundation has contributed over $2 million to Frankfort 157-C schools.
