Daughter's Father's Day Tribute: Could Never Ask For Better Dad

"Your dad jokes aren't even that bad," a Frankfort Patch reader says about her father.

As Father's Day approaches, Patch is letting readers honor their dads with photos and tributes. Gia Bucci of Frankfort has these kind words for her dad:

Dear Dad,

I know as I get older it may seem like I’m less appreciative of the things you do. I want to tell you that no
matter what my teenage years say, I will always appreciate the things you do for me, big or small. You
work so hard to give me everything I could ever ask for. I love everything so much and couldn’t ask for
more. Even though I can seem like a pain (at times), I know you love me, because you are always so
patient. You make me laugh all the time. Your dad jokes aren’t even that bad (wink wink). You let me
have ice cream, even when mom says NO (earning brownie points from your daughter). Ever since I was
little, you would always play with me, even if it was with dolls or pretty, pretty princess. Now you
support me and help me through volleyball and basketball. I also enjoy watching our many tv shows
together that mom calls “silly”, but that’s ok. You mean so much to me and I know that I could never
repay your kindness. You always make me happy. You let us go on crazy adventures, and you are always
there to protect me. By protect me, I mean through bad decisions, scary times when you help me
overcome them, and just everyday life. I love that! You worry about me when I’m hurt or sick, and some
people don’t have that. I’m so grateful that you care so much. I could never ask for a better Dad, I’m a
daddy’s girl! Enjoy this day and just know how much I appreciate you and love you! Love you more!
