Face Masks Still Required At Park District Facilities, For Now
"As soon as we receive the guidelines and have time to adjust operations, the park district will make adjustments," the district said.
FRANKFORT, IL — Face masks are still required at park district facilities for now, the park district shared on its website and social media on Friday.
Last week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shared new guidance on face masks, and said that fully vaccinated people do not have to wear face masks outdoors and in most indoor settings, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws or rules, including regulations set by businesses or workplaces.
A spokesperson for Gov. J.B. Pritzker said he would revise Illinois' mask mandate and bring it in line with the new CDC guidance.
