Fireworks In Frankfort Rescheduled
Bad weather canceled Wednesday's Fourth of July pyrotechnic display.
FRANKFORT, IL — The village's Fourth of July fireworks display Wednesday was canceled because of thunderstorms that moved through the south suburbs. The pyrotechnic display has been rescheduled for 9 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Main Park, 400 W. Nebraska St., according to the Frankfort Park District.
The fireworks show was originally scheduled for dusk Wednesday, July 4, at Main Park. It was part of the village's annual Fourth of July celebration, which included carnival games and other activities.
