FRANKFORT, IL — Volunteers and a Chicago dog rescue are searching for a lost dog in Frankfort. A foster dog being cared for in Frankfort got loose on March 29. One Tail at a Time shelter said the dog was being fostered by a family living on Pioneer Court in Frankfort.

She is a black female lab mix and was recently sighted on Steger and 104th, the shelter said. She may have gotten much farther or she could be hiding. The dog is very shy, so you should not chase her if you see her.

Volunteers from the shelter have hung flyers in the community. You can call or text 847-208-7473 with any sightings.
