Franciscan Health Classic to Celebrate Healthcare Heroes
Franciscan Health Foundation seeks partners for golf outing to tee off at Olympia Fields Country Club on August 16

On Monday, August 16, the 19th Franciscan Health Golf Classic will be held at Olympia Fields Country Club. Funds raised by the event will benefit Franciscan’s Community Health and Wellness Fund.
This year’s Classic honors Franciscan’s Healthcare Heroes who worked long hours, day after day, to treat and save COVID-19 patients over the last several months. It will also celebrate the lives saved as a result of their work.
True to Franciscan Healthcare tradition, doctors, nurses and staff delivered compassionate, expert healthcare to community members as they faced this highly contagious, deadly virus.

As a teaching hospital, Franciscan Health brings the most specialized and advanced services to the community, which was especially valuable during this critical time.
The experience of fighting COVID-19 further deepened Franciscan Health’s bond with the Chicago Southland community, which was established more than 100 years ago.
