Frankfort 7-Eleven To Host Lottery Milestone Event

FRANKFORT, IL. — To celebrate 45 years since the introduction of its first instant ticket, Illinois Lottery is giving away free instant tickets July 11 from 3-7 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 7655 W. St. Francis Road.

The event is part of a month-long promotion with seven "celebration-stops" across the state. Other locations and dates include:

• Mariano's, 3867 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in Chicago, July 7 from 3-7 p.m.
• Jewel, 17117 S. Harlem Ave. in Tinley Park, July 14 from 3-7 p.m.
• Kelley's Market, 6224 N. 2nd St. in Loves Park, July 16 from noon-4 p.m.
• Qik N EZ, 1101 Stevenson Drive in Springfield, July 22 from 1-5 p.m.
• Little Grocery, 200 McKinley St. Suite A, July 23 from 1-5 p.m.
• Curly's Corner Market, 5527 Maryville Road in Granite City, July 27 from 2-6 p.m.

The free instant ticket giveaways are eligible for everyone 18 years of age or older who takes a photo with the Illinois Lottery’s photo op during the events. Players are encouraged to share their snapshot on social media with the event hashtag: #Celebrate71121. Additionally, at each event 11 guests will have a chance to receive a bonus prize. Guests must mention the 7-11-21 CODE WORD to an Illinois Lottery brand ambassador. The 7-11-21 CODE WORD will be provided through radio, social and/or other promotional channels prior to the event.
