Frankfort Approves Contract for Village Administrator

Frankfort Village Board also voted to appoint former police chief as assistant administrator.

FRANKFORT, IL. — Frankfort's Village Board of Trustees approved July 6 an employment contract for current Village Administrator Rob Priscia. The board also officially appointed John Burica to assistant Village administrator, which takes effect immediately, according to a press release from the Village. Burica will be leaving his position as police chief, which he has held for the past 11 years, to assume his new duties, the release stated. Priscia has served in his current role since 2017.

Burica told Patch that he will continue to oversee the police department while the Village searches for a new police chief. Burica said that he expects the process should be quick, possibly by the next Village Board meeting.

“These are two fine individuals who have the best interests of Frankfort in mind in every decision they make. The Village is fortunate to have such leadership at the top,” Frankfort Mayor Keith Ogle was quoted as saying.
