Frankfort Farmers Market 2018: 2 New Vendors Are Sweet Additions
The village's Country Market begins its season when it opens Sunday.

FRANKFORT, IL — As temperatures are finally warming up in the area, it's a perfect time for the Frankfort Country Market to begin its season. The market opens for the first time in 2018 on Sunday in the village's historic downtown.
Although it runs nearly continuously from the end of April until mid-October, the market has three parts. The spring market, which has a focus on plants and flowers, opens Sunday and runs through May 27. That's followed by the summer market, which begins June 3.
"The summer market has the full complement of vendors and, along with flowers, … features fresh produce, live entertainment and special events," said Mary Canino, Frankfort community relations manager.

Finally, the fall market starts Sept. 9, and it ends Oct. 14.
This year, two new vendors will be debuting at the Frankfort Country Market, and they both will offer sweet treats for customers. Orland Park's Nothing Bundt Cakes will begin selling its mini bundt cakes in the summer market, and Barcacaochocolat of Oak Brook will have its handcrafted chocolates throughout the entire season.
