Frankfort Grants Permit For Pipe Supplier With Outdoor Storage

FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Village board granted a special use permit to Millineum, a boring pipe supplier, for outdoor storage with its proposed industrial building at Monday's board meeting.

The village board approved a special use permit for Millineum-Kyle Holdings' to construct an industrial building with outdoor storage in the I-1 zone, and it approved the final plat for the consolidation of two lots in the Fey and Graefen industrial park. The building will have an address of 22791 S. Challenger Road, board documents state.

Millineum is a boring pipe supplier currently located in Mokena, board documents state.

The plan commission unanimously recommended the project, with conditions of providing architectural banding on the front and sides of the building and screening the rooftop mechanical units from view.
