
FRANKFORT, IL — Two new members recently were appointed to the Frankfort Plan Commission.
Frankfort Mayor Jim Holland on Jan. 3 recommended the appointment of two new commissioners to the Plan Commission effective immediately. The vacancies on the plan commission were the result of two commissioners spending winters in Florida who resigned their seats.

- Mike Collins – an architect with knowledge of development practices. Mike and his wife are raising four children in Frankfort, and have lived in Frankfort for close to 30 years. Mike feels Frankfort’s strongest assets are its “downtown district, security and small town feel”. Mike's term as commissioner is January 3, 2017 through April 30, 2017.
- Lisa Hogan – a director of human resources for a US coffee roasting and retailer located in Chicago. Lisa has volunteered her time on various Frankfort committees, including Community Services, Frankfort Country Market, and most recently as a member of the Land Use & Policy committee. Lisa feels Frankfort’s strongest assets include its “sense of community”. Lisa’s term as commissioner is January 3, 2017 through April 30, 2018.

Village," said Holland. "We look forward to their input on the Plan Commission as we review development projects throughout the year."
