Playground Replacement Projects To Start Monday

The Frankfort Park District is excited to announce the start of the Brookmeadow and Sandalwood Park playground replacement projects. Weather permitting, the removal of the existing playground equipment is slated to start the week of May 17. The new playground equipment for Sandalwood has been delivered and the equipment for Brookmeadow is in route.

Each of the playgrounds will have new play equipment, site amenities and a shade structure. The Park District approve poured in play safety surfacing for both locations. Weather plays a factor in construction projects. The park district has expressed to the contractor the importance of having the projects turned around in a timely fashion so that the parks can be used all summer long.
