"This event has been popular with homeowner groups that just go out for an hour or so and clean up the area around their own subdivision on the main streets," Holland said. "It's also popular with various youth groups, and I would think that some of our service clubs might be interested in doing something like this for a little bit on a Saturday morning."
Country Market
Frankfort's County Market will open for the season on April 25.
"It will be very similar to last year," Holland said. "We're going to follow the governor's guidelines. They may change, we hope a lot of things are going to change this summer, but right now, they're the same as they were last year."
The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 25 in the Breidert Green and 1 N. White St. parking lots. The market features produce, plants, baked goods, prepared food and gourmet products, according to the village website.
The market will be held every Sunday until Oct. 24, excluding July 4, July 11 and Sept. 5.
