Frankfort Plans Virtual Memorial Day Ceremony
The ceremony will air on FCTV Channel 6 and Frankfort's Youtube channel on May 31.
FRANKFORT, IL — Like last year, Frankfort's Memorial Day ceremony will once again be virtual. The Village of Frankfort, VFW Post 1493, Will County Chief Deputy State's Attorney Ken Grey and the Hickory Creek Middle School band and orchestra will come together for the event to honor service members.
The ceremony will air on FCTV Channel 6 and Frankfort's Youtube channel on May 31.
In past years, the ceremony has been held in-person at Breidert Green, and usually attracts hundreds of people. Last year, the ceremony went virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic.
