Frankfort Splash Park Opening Postponed To Tuesday
The splash park at Commissioners Park will open on Tuesday, pending weather.
FRANKFORT, IL — Due to cooler temperatures, the opening of the splash park at Commissioners Park has been delayed to Tuesday.
The park was supposed to open on Saturday, but due to the forecasted cool temperatures, the park district postponed the opened, the district said on its Facebook page.
The district is planning to open the splash park, 22108 S. 80th Ave., at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, weather permitting.

The splash park is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, according the park district website. There is a limit of 50 patrons per session, and admission is charged on a first-come, first-served basis.
It is $2 for residents, and $4 for non-residents for entry. Children 1 and under are free. Concessions are also open daily during splash park hours.

The splash park will be closed June 14, July 12 and Aug. 9 for maintenance, and on July 4 for the holiday. It was close for the season on Aug. 27.
