Frankfort Square Wildcats Football, Cheer Have Successful Seasons
The Frankfort Square Wildcats football and cheer program had a successful 2019 season for several teams.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Frankfort Square Wildcats football and cheer program had a successful 2019 season for several teams. Two football teams won the Super Bowl this year; the super lightweight and the junior varsity teams. The cheer program also saw success, with several teams awarded first place.
According to the organization, not only did the junior varsity team achieve a Super Bowl win, but they team also had an undefeated season.
The sixth grade cheer team was awarded first at state, while the seventh grade team came in third. The eighth grade team also saw great success, and came in first at nationals.

The roster for the sixth grade cheer team is: Charlee Dobesh, Ava Antionazzi, Emma Weyer, Maddie Egan, Ava Griffin, Julia Newsom, Cali Tierney, Ava Eldridge, Lucy Schlatterbeck, Libby Petrovich, Zoe Hajjar, Karydan Favorite, Kyrstin Jensen, Peyton Maleski, Mackenzie Peters, Mikayla Zallis and Olivia Mancini.
The team is coached by Erica Weyer and Amy Griffin.

The roster for the seventh grade cheer team is: Kara Barkus, Sicily Burriss, Giana Gallina, Tristessa Geagan, Grace Gibbons, Mia Hajjar, Kala Harte, Casey Keblusek, Layla Kelly, Lindsay Lavine, Samantha Lewandowski, Emily McGuire, Lauren Nicholson, MacKenzie Petrey, Paige Reed, Sophia Shelby, Jenna Stonesifer and Amelia Zugaj.
The roster for the eighth grade team is: Olivia Boswell, Maya Contreras, Payten Dircks, Brielle Donnelly, Nicole Einoder, Sofia Ferreira, Ann Haggerty, Sophia McIntyre, Anastasia Nakos, Shannon Parsons, Cailey Petro, Loren Sedlack, Riley Seymour, Alizahy Silva, Payton Theis and Nyiah Young.
The seventh grade team is coached by Jill Zugaj, and the eighth grade team is coached by Paula Seymour and Danielle Young.
The super lightweight football is coached by Jim Nakos and the team roster is: Frankie Maida, Tyler Molitor, Aldyn Walker-Gilmore, Dylan Clendenning, Liam Ziervogel, Caden Archbold, Liam Block, Austin Showalter, Anthony Merlos, Liam Doyle, Jameson Hix, Ryan Moreno, Quinn Rumbaugh, Amer Salah, Zak Zayek, Dante Toures, Evan Pearson, Anthony Holder, Connor Clendenning, Andrew Radziwon, Aiden Lorendo, James Bailey, Parker Racette, Elliot Roethle, Blake Roberts, Rowan Kras, Colton Phillips and Luke Drexel.
