Frankfort's Modified Country Market Returns Sunday
The market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 24 in downtown Frankfort.

FRANKFORT, IL – Frankfort's modified country market will return for the year on Sunday. The market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 24 in downtown Frankfort at 1 N. White St. and Breidert Green parking lots.
According to the village, the market features locally grown produce, plants, baked goods, prepared foods and gourmet products. Vendors include: Bothwell Farms, A Spice Above, The Eating Well, Kernel Sweetooth, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Fruit Blend Smoothies, Dough Daddy's Dinky Donuts, Aracely's Bakery, Cliff's Natural Pork, That Pickle Guy, Ruhter Bison, Real Fruit Tea, and many more.
Some operational changes to the market include: monitored entry and exit points, face coverings required for vendors and customers, one-way aisles, ground markings to assist with social distancing, hand-washing stations, capacity limits, no food or beverage consumption on-side, no food demonstrations or samples, and no entertainment.

Samples may be given if individually stored in a sealed to-go container, according to the village.
“We are pleased to announce the return of Frankfort’s Country Market where the social aspects are as popular as the foods. Join us every Sunday from now until October,” Mayor Jim Holland said in a release.
