ID Theft At Frankfort Business: Warrant Issued For Arkansas Woman

A warrant was issued Friday for Latresse Fisher, 33, of Alexander, Arkansas. A second woman is also under investigation.

FRANKFORT, IL — An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman from Arkansas on a felony identity theft charge after thefts at two Frankfort businesses on March 5, Frankfort Police said. Police said Latresse Fisher, 33, of Alexander, Arkansas, is wanted in connection with the crimes, and a second woman is under investigation.

In the incidents, two women entered two businesses at Ash and Kansas streets and stole a purse and two wallets, and used the victim's credit cards at several retail establishments, police said. The women used a distraction technique, with one woman engaging an employee while the other stole the employee's purse and wallet, according to police.

Police said the case is still open pending the investigation of the second woman.
