Lincoln-Way East Football Advances To IHSA Class 8A Championship

FRANKFORT, IL — After an undefeated regular season and their win in the semifinals, Lincoln-Way East has advanced to the IHSA Class 8A championship game. Last week, in the semifinals, the Griffins defeated Marist 24-7.

The Griffins will now face the Gurnee Warren Blue Devils in the championship game. The Griffins and the Blue Devils are both 13-0.

The game will be played at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30 at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
