Lincoln-Way East Football Advances To Round Two Of IHSA Playoffs

FRANKFORT, IL — After an undefeated regular season and a shutout victory in the first round, Lincoln-Way East has advanced to the second round of the Class 8A IHSA playoffs. Last week, the Griffins defeated Plainfield South 40-0.
Next, the Griffins, with a record of 10-0, will face Notre Dame College Prep, which has a record of 8-2. The game will be played at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9 at Lincoln-Way East.
Lincoln-Way East has the third seed, while Notre Dame is seeded No. 14.

The winner of the game will face the winner of Neuqua Valley and Homewood-Flossmoor.
