Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week of Oct. 14
Patch has compiled a list of recently lost and found pets from around Will County.
WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help.
For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control, or listed on Lost Cats Illinois or Lost Dogs Illinois.
Bolingbrook

- This male adult cat was found in Bolingbrook Oct. 11. The cat was found at Beaconridge Drive and Somerset Lane.
- Oso the male Pomeranian has been missing from Bolingbrook since Oct. 13. He is microchipped.

Crete
- Dixie the dog has been missing from Crete since Oct. 11.
Joliet
- Steven the cat has been missing from Joliet since Oct. 10. He was last seen near Cherry Hill Road and Washington Street.
Peotone
- A female Pomeranian mix was found in Peotone Oct. 10. She has no microchip.
Romeoville
- Missy B the cat has been missing from Romeoville since Oct. 8. She was last seen near Highpoint Drive and Harmony Lane.
Wilmington
- A female Rhodesian mix was found in Wilmington Township Oct. 7. She has no microchip.
For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
