Lost And Found Pets Of Will County: Week Of Sept. 2
Patch has compiled some of the recently lost and found pets from around Will County.
WILL COUNTY, IL — A lost dog or cat can be a pet owner's worst nightmare. Families often cover towns in 'lost pet' flyers and reach out on social media for help. The Will County Animal Control is one resource in Will County that shares lost and found animals on its Facebook page.
For those who may be searching for a pet, or if you have seen a lost animal and are trying to report it, Patch has created a list of animals who were recently lost or found, including some found by Will County Animal Control.
Homer Glen

- Riley the dog has been missing from Homer Glen since Sept. 1. She was last seen near 167th and Parker Road.
Joliet

- Raven the cat has been missing since Aug. 26 from Joliet. The senior black cat was last seen near Ingalls Ace and Edgerton Drive.
Naperville
- Lucky the lovebird has been missing from Naperville since Aug. 29. The bird was last seen near 95th and Book Road.
Plainfield
- A stray cat was found in Plainfield on Aug. 31. She has no microchip.
Wilmington
- Gomez, a Chihuahua, has been missing from Wilmington since Sept. 1. He was last seen near Elwood and Pinegrove.
For more information on pets found by Will County Animal Control, call them at (815) 462-5633. The organization does not have the ability to keep strays for long, and will give the dog over to an adoption facility.
