Montessori of Frankfort Students Study Chick Embryos

Montessori of Frankfort students study embryology with the help of the University of Illinois Extension!

Eager students learned every detail on the life cycle of a chicken. And, as with everything in a Montessori classroom, they received hands-on experience. Everyone was required to complete an incubation and embryology study. The students also learned how to take good care of the eggs in the incubator until the birth of the chicks. Once the chicks were alive and healthy, the students received a certificate from the University of Illinois Embryology Extension. This was an incredible and educational experience for all students!
