Montessori Schools Host 17th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

Montessori of Frankfort and Montessori of Plainfield hosted their 17th annual Daddy Daughter Dance held at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club.

Montessori of Frankfort and Montessori of Plainfield hosted their 17th annual Daddy Daughter Dance held at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in Lemont, Illinois. The theme for the evening was, "Daddy’s Little Princess." The royal couples enjoyed an Italian buffet before the ball dancing began. Each couple received a keepsake photo in their formal attire. The dads received a priceless survey about them filled out by their little princess. The girls received memento favors including a princess tiara, wand, and necklace. The DJ kept the music flowing all evening and the dads and daughters danced the night away.

"Every year this is a very popular event for our students. This year was no different. There was 99 percent attendance by students and their respective fathers," said Mari-Ann Unger, director of Montessori of Plainfield. Unger continued, "No matter how many times we've held this event, it never fails to stir such emotions in all of the staff - including me. It's so special to see the girls light up, interact with their fathers and enjoy some one-on-one time with them."
