The South Side native has dropped the asking price for the house, which went on the market in May.
MATTESON, IL — South Side native and NBA All-Star Dwyane Wade has recently put his Matteson home on the market. He and then-wife Siohvaughn Funches bought the four-bedroom house for $390,000 in 2006, and he was awarded the residence when the couple divorced in 2014, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Wade, who has played much of his pro career with the Miami Heat, listed the 2,280 square-foot home for $290,000 in May, according to the listing on Realtor.com. Last month, he lowered the asking price for the house in the 5700 block of Amherst Place to $269,900.
The brick home was built in 2006, and it sits on a corner lot in the Newbury Estates subdivision. With its private bath and balcony, the upstairs master bedroom overlooks the family room, which has a wet bar and gas fireplace.
