Tornado Warning Issued For Will County

FRANKFORT, IL — A tornado warning has been issued for central Will County until 7:30 p.m. The National Weather Service said a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Frankfort at 7:07 p.m.

The dangerous storm will be near Tinley Park near 7:20 p.m., the weather service said.

You should move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
