A Weekend of Family Fun Awaits at 15th Annual Kids Expo

Longest standing family event in the Chicago area features special character visits, inflatables, a glamour spa bus, pony rides and more

From Saturday, April 13h through the 14th, Family Time Magazine will host its 15th Annual Kids Expo, the longest standing and only kids expo in the Chicagoland area, at the Roma Sports Club in Frankfort. The Kids Expo is open to the public and the cost for admission is $9 for adults and $6 for children ages 12 and under. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The one and only kids expo in Chicagoland is a dynamic two-day event that delivers family fun for all ages; amazing giveaway prizes such as an Xbox, Razor Scooter, and American Doll, a special meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie, surprise princess character visits, inflatable bounce houses, a glamour spa bus, pony rides, balloon artists, face painting and so much more.

The event also features an exhibition hall with over 80 kid-related businesses that parents will also enjoy, including Discovery Toys, Gymboree, KidsWork Children’s Museum, Chicagoland Speedway and others.

The Kids Expo will host both on-stage and off-stage events, with special performances kicking off on-stage on Saturday, April 13th at 9:30 a.m. with a circus show, immediately followed by a meet-and-greet event at 11:30 a.m. with Mickey and Minnie and Pokemon. On Sunday, stage performances include magic tricks by Mary Macaroni at 10:30 a.m., a circus and martial arts program and The Good Times Kids Television Show. Off-stage events include two full days of a glamour spa bus, a special STEM trailer featuring science experiments and activities, knockerball, character appearances and more. Sponsorships and exhibitor booths are still available and are an ideal opportunity for groups, organizations and businesses who want to get in front of family-friendly audiences. Camps for kids, park districts, fitness centers, restaurants, extra-curricular activities, churches, banks, toy stores, book stores, schools and more are all invited to participate.
