What an Amazing Season for 16U Mokena Blast MS

These girls can play! With a final season record of 42-4-1, I would say these girls have "it". Pictured above is (starting at the top left to right) Sam Hayes, Jen Hayes, Emily (Emu) Kuehl, Dayla Rauch, Kaley Murphy, Abby Sol, and Emma Parrish. Also pictured above (starting at the bottom left to right) Veronica Szafoni, Emily Butkowski, Carlie Jenkins, Jenna Salzman, and Ashley Sheffler. These 12 girls entered into 7 tournaments looking for the gold! Here were the results of those tournaments: Roselle-2nd, Kankakee-1st, Kankakee-1st, Romeoville-1st, Mokena-1st, Peoria (state)-3rd, and South Bend, 1st. Special thanks to coaches Michelle Szafoni, Pat Murphy, and Jeremy Parrish for making this such a life lasting memorable experience for these girls. This team has been driven by fundamental teaching by "Doing it Stevie's Way, Get Better Everyday", which they wore on there jersey every championship game. We are so proud of what you have done girls!....and how you did it!
