When Will Enrico's Open?

FRANKFORT, IL — Enrico's fans eager to see their favorite reopen its doors can mark their calendars for some very big dates.

The owners posted a quick note on Facebook letting customers know when they can expect the restaurant to open in its new location, 20535 S. La Grange Rd.

"We can’t tell you how excited we are to be re-opening our doors to loyal patrons! Your encouragement and support throughout this LONG and frustrating process is what carried us through," reads the update on the restaurant's Facebook page. "Our new restaurant is welcoming, and, while smaller and much more efficient, it will allow us to keep much of the menu the same and certainly all the favorites that everyone loved about Enrico’s."

OK, but WHEN?! We know, you're dying to know.

The restaurant will offer limited carryout service beginning Thursday, April 21, through Saturday, April 23. The service will give trained staff practice with real customers, "and see where we need to tweak our menu and operations in the new kitchen."

They will offer one section of the carryout menu each night, and you'll have to check Facebook to find out which. Hours will be 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Carryout with the full menu will officially start Wednesday, April 27. Carryout hours will be 4:30 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday (closed Sundays and Mondays).

The dining room will open on Wednesday, May 11.

"Due to the anticipated high demand and because we want you to fully enjoy your first return visit without crazy wait times we will open by reservation only for the first couple of weeks," the update reads. "This will allow us to provide the best possible food and service that you have enjoyed in past and which we hope you will continue to enjoy in the future."

Dine-in reservations will begin on Tuesday, May 3. Call 815-469-4187, ext. 17, between 2 and 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday to make your reservation. During the restaurant's initial relaunch, they ask that parties be limited to 2–4 guests, and that your visit not exceed an hour and a half.

AND you can still host a private party at Enrico’s, on Tuesday through Thursday during the day and on Sundays. The restaurant will be closed to the public on Sunday. The space can accommodate 50 guests, and party menus will be available in mid-May. You can reserve a date now with no penalty for cancelation until we provide you with all the particulars. Party reservations will begin May 3 by calling 815-469-4187, ext. 17. Catering will now be done through carryout, pickup only, no delivery. Tuesday through Saturday only.
