CASA Kane County Teaming Up With G3X Sports Academy

The collaboration between CASA and G3X Sports Academy is mutually beneficial as both have a focus on healthy children and families.

GENEVA, IL — CASA Kane County is teaming up with G3X Sports Academy and its nonprofit foundation in an effort to make sports more accessible to children and families. According to a news release issued by CASA Kane County, the collaboration between the organizations is mutually beneficial as both have a focus on healthy children and families in Fox Valley. Both organizations also believe children involved in organized sports reap many awards from their experience.

According to the news release, CASA believes that every child has the right to a safe, nurturing and permanent home. To make this possible, CASA added that children therefore deserve the support and involvement of their community. G3X's nonprofit foundation is exists to fund scholarships and programs for youth, as its vision is to incorporate sports into every household by lowering the barrier of entry to families, according to the news release.

"We find that too many kids don’t play sports due to the high cost of the 'pay to play' model that exists today," G3X founder and board chairman Joe Abraham said, in the news release. "When they don’t have sports in their lives, they are more likely to be sedentary, spend hours of the day without adult guidance, and become likely targets for bad influences.”
