Christmas On the Farm Planned At Peck Farm Park

The popular Geneva Park will host the first-ever event next month. It is free and will include sculptors, music and a visit from Santa.

GENEVA, IL -- The Geneva Park District will host its first-ever Christmas on the Farm event next month at Peck Farm Park. The "magical evening" will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the popular park. Starting at 4 p.m.,Nadeau’s Ice Sculptors will begin a two-hour ice carving demonstration, according to a news release.

Visitors can listen to live holiday music from Paper Boats from 4 to 5 p.m. and from the Geneva High School Choir from 5 to 6 p.m.

Throughout the evening, visitors can also gather around the fireplace inside the historic Peck Farm Park house for a story with Mrs. Claus. There will also be a going outside in George’s Circle to keep attendees warm. Santa will also make an appearance, according to the news release.

L.L. Bean will be on-site to demonstrate how to build a shelter and how to layer clothing for proper protection in the cold temperatures

The event is free but some food and activities may have a small fee. For example, Graham’s Hot Cocoa will be available for purchase.
