Fabyan Bridge Work Reducing Traffic To One Lane: Report
Here's when to expect one lane of traffic on the bridge, according to transportation officials.

KANE COUNTY, IL — The Kane County Division of Transportation said traffic will be down to only one lane on the Fabyan Bridge as flaggers control the flow of traffic starting at 5:30 a.m. until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 28, or Thursday, Aug. 29, weather permitting. According to a release, this is happening allow crews room to pour new wearing surface on the bridge.
Motorists are strongly advised to find alternate routes during this work. The Kane County Division of Transportation said this work is part of the ongoing rehabilitation work (since June), including light pole cleaning and painting, and bridge structural repair and maintenance.
This project is being constructed in multiple stages, and is anticipated to be done during December 2019, according to a release.
