Geneva Among Best IL Cities For Families: Study
The study focused on factors like playgrounds, affordability, crime, education and many others.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva has made the list of Illinois' best cities to raise a family, according to a recent study by WalletHub.
Geneva took place No. 49, according to WalletHub. Much of the northwest suburbs made the list, which is based on a number of factors like playgrounds per capita, attractions, median family income, affordable housing, crime rates and many others.
These factors are among 21 that WalletHub researchers used to compile the data, all organized into four major dimensions: 1) family life and fun, 2) education, health and safety, 3) affordability and 4) socio-economics. The rankings included 222 of Illinois' 1,299 municipalities.

Geneva had above average ranking for three of the four dimensions. Education, health and safety, affordability and socio-economics saw Geneva placing 33, 76 and 51, respectively. Family life and fun was Geneva's lowest ranking, at 117.
