Geneva to Be Featured in Illinois Lottery Commercial

Film crews were in town last week capturing footage of downtown Geneva for the commercial.

GENEVA, IL — Area residents may have noticed film crews and actors wandering downtown Geneva last week as the Illinois Lottery plans to include the town in an upcoming commercial, the Aurora Beacon-News reports. The film crew was in town on Thursday and shot footage in a residential area at South and Fourth streets as well as breakfast scenes at the Geneva Diner and portraits of three veterans in front of the American Legion Fox River Geneva Post

A representative from the Illinois Lottery could not say when the commercial would be air but a representative from Story, the film production company handling the commercial, said locals will likely recognize Geneva sites in it, according to the article.
