Geneva Boys Lacrosse Wins IHSLA Class B State Championship

The Geneva High School boys Lacrosse team claimed the IHSLA Class B state championship over the weekend, winning 10-7 over Carmel.
Prior to Saturday’s state win, the Vikings made it to the IHSLA semifinals three years in a row, according to the Kane County Chronicle The team will play in Class A next year and will have the opportunity to play against some of the state’s best team.

The Geneva Lacrosse team is self-funded, according to the Kane County Chronicle. The IHSA Lacrosse state series will begin in 2018.
