Geneva Howl O'Ween Dog Parade, Hayday: Schedule, Activities

GENEVA, IL — People of all ages and their pups will be dressed in costumes this Saturday for the Halloween Hayday and Howl O'Ween Dog Parade. The Hayday event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, and then the dog parade will be held at 1:30 at Peck Farm Park, 4038 Kaneville Rd.

Hayday activities will include kids games and crafts, a costume contest, science activities, a Halloween egg hunt, bounce houses and hay rides.

Halloween Hayday Schedule and Details:

• Date: Saturday, October 27
• Location: Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road Geneva, IL 60134
• Event Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Cost: Pre-Registration: $5 (N/R $8); Day-Of Registration: $7 (N/R $10), Free admission for adults; Register Now

*Ages 14 and under. Pre-registration is recommended.

*Games and activities run from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
*Mr. Steve, The Master Facilitator of Fun, will perform from 12:15 p.m.-1 p.m.

• Cost: Free

*Prizes will be awarded for most creative, funniest and scariest costumes.

*Line-up is at 1:15 p.m. in the courtyard. The parade begins promptly at 1:30 p.m.
