Geneva Park District Plans Halloween Events
With the summer winding down, the Geneva Park District is starting to plan for fall and Halloween.
GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Park District has two Halloween events planned for the upcoming holiday. Halloween Hayday and Peck Farm Park's Howl O' Ween Dog Parade will both be held on Oct. 26.
Halloween Hayday will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center, 3507 Kaneville Road, and will include kids games, crafts, a costume content, science activities, a Halloween egg hunt, bounce house, hay rides and more. The games and activities will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Magician Jaime Aponte will perform from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
The event is meant for ages 14 and under and preregistration is recommended. The cost is $5 for residents prior to the day of the event and $8 for non-residents. The cost is $7 on the day of the event for residents and $10 for non-residents.

Also on Oct. 26, and located right across the street from the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center at Peck Farm Park, the park district will host its free Howl O' Ween Dog Parade. The parade will start at 1:30 p.m.
Line-up for the parade begins at 1:15 p.m. in the courtyard at Peck Farm Park, 4308 Kaneville Road. Prizes will be awarded for most creative, funniest, and scariest costumes.
No preregistration is required for the dog parade.
