Mobile Coronavirus Test Unit To Travel Through Kane Co. This Week

Update: The unit will now set up Saturday in Aurora's Phillips Park. It had been scheduled to stop at the Main Baptist Church.

KANE COUNTY, IL — State officials are sending a mobile coronavirus testing unit through Kane County this week to bolster local testing capacities. The mobile unit will make seven stops in the county starting Monday, according to the Kane County Health Department.

Anyone can be tested for the coronavirus at the mobile unit, regardless of symptoms, officials said, encouraging anyone who has been recently exposed to a potential or confirmed case to get tested. Those who want to be tested must provide a name and phone number so officials can reach them later with their test results. Officials are also asking people to bring a photo ID.
