Mooseheart's Holiday Lights Open Next Week

Mooseheart’s 9th Annual Holiday Lights display, will open on Friday, Nov. 23. The lighted route will run nightly from 5 to 9 p.m. through Dec. 31 at the Mooseheart Child City and School, 255 James J. Davis Drive in Mooseheart. Those who stop out can drive through the display, which runs for about 1.8 miles and has more than 80 lighted displays, according to a news release.

There is a $10 admission cost per vehicle.

In addition, for six nights this year, Dec. 8 to 9, Dec. 15 to 16, and Dec. 22 to 23, the $10 admission price will also invlude a chance to see Santa Claus in the Mooseheart fieldhouse.

Santa will sit for free photos starting at 5:30 p.m. and the line will be shut down at 8:30 p.m., with those in line still allowed to see Santa.

There will also be crafts, holiday music, hot chocolate, and Christmas cookies in the field house.
