North Aurora Man Punched Nurse At Geneva Hospital: Police

A North Aurora man is accused of assaulting a nurse at Geneva's Delnor Hospital while receiving treatment Nov. 19.

GENEVA, IL — A North Aurora man is facing a felony charge after police alleged he punched a nurse while being treated at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, the Kane County Chronicle reports.

Hayden Hogan, 26, whose last known address was in the 600 block of Stewart Avenue, was charged Nov. 19 with aggravated battery of a nurse, according to Kane County court records.

Police allege Hogan became combative with a nurse during medical tests and tried to stand up from the hospital bed, the Chronicle reports. Hogan punched a nurse in the chest as other hospital employees came to help, police said.

Since his arrest, Hogan has been held at the Kane County Jail on $1,000 bail. He is due to appear in court Jan. 4. Kane County court records show Hogan is also facing a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge from Sept. 8.
