Geneva, IL – The REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley is proud to announce Chris Studebaker as Chief Executive Officer of the Association. Studebaker, with 15 years of association management experience, will lead RAFV as it continues to be recognized as the real estate leader in the Fox Valley.
Studebaker will join the team on Monday, November 17. He will work alongside current CEO, Ann Hammerstad, until her planned retirement at the end of the year.
The search for a new CEO began in early 2014, as the Board of Directors and Executive Search Committee worked closely with the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR). “It was a specific skill set we were after; we needed a seasoned association manager. Without question, we also needed someone to oversee our staff, assist our members and to lead the Association through the next decade,” said Bobbie Gerbrecht 2014-2015 President. Gerbrecht continues with, “We have found all of those qualities in Chris, and in addition, he has a strong background in Government Affairs and Industry Relations.”
Studebaker earned his MBA in Leadership from Aurora University. Most recently, he was the Director of Government and Industry Relations at the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA, Evanston).
