Registration Now Open for Swedish Days 5K

Registration is now open for the Swedish Days 5K loop.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Geneva Running Outfitters organize the run, which will start at 7:30 a.m. on June 24 at Gunnar Forest Preserve in Geneva, which is behind the Kane County Government Center at 719 S. Batavia, according to a news release.

Race organizers encourage runners to tie-in with the Scandinavian theme with your attire.

There will be unique Swedish Days awards handed out to the top 3 male and female overall and medals in various age groups. Runners must register by June 14 to secure a shirt at packet pickup. The $35 registration fee includes the t-shirt and pancake breakfast.

Race day registration is $40.

There will also be a Kids’ Dash for ages 1 to 8 years old beginning at 7:15 am.
