Summer Fun Swings Into Full Gear In Geneva
Movies in the Park, Concerts in the Park and Geneva's Got Talent will be held this summer with social distancing guidelines in place.
GENEVA, IL—Summer fun is here again in Geneva. From concerts in the park to outdoor movie evenings, events will be happening throughout the city following a year on hold.
New safety guidelines have been put into place, including masks and social distancing, but the gatherings are expected to go down just as planned.
Concerts in the Park kicks off July 7, but registration is required at least 48 hours in advance. Concerts take place from 7-8:30 p.m. at the SPRC Soccer Fields, 3507 Kaneville Rd., Geneva. Social distancing is required, masks are encouraged.

This year’s Concerts in the Park lineup includes:
July 7 – Final Say
July 14– June’s Got the Cash
July 21 – The Millennials
July 28 – Mr. Myers
Movies in the Park is also back, with social distancing guidelines in place. Pre-registration must be made 48 hours prior to the event and each household member must be registered.

Families will be directed to circles outlined on the ground where they will be required to sit. Circles will be 30 feet apart and masks are encouraged.
Geneva’s Got Talent is scheduled for next month, and participants will compete for a cash prize. Residents and non-residents of all ages and talents are welcome to compete.
The Geneva Park District has teamed up with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce to hold the event. They are welcoming dancer, singers, jugglers, band, magicians and more to show of their talents.
Auditions take place on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Playhouse 38, 321 Stevens St., Suit P, Geneva. Semifinals will be held on June 23 from 6:30-8 p.m. and finals will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. on June 24.
