Summer Job Openings Plentiful At Geneva Park District

The park district is hiring staff to care for its parks, pools, and patrons. Lifeguards and swim instructors are among those being sought.

GENEVA, IL—Want to be a birthday party coordinator, park caretaker, camp leader, or a naturalist assistant? Then head on over to the Geneva Park District webpage and apply, because summer means hiring.

There are many different seasonal positions available, and the district is looking for good candidates to keep things up and running while programming picks up for the season.

In addition to the mentioned positions, the park district is also seeking out swim trainers to teach student lessons.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a current CPR/AED and first aid certification, along with a Starfish Aquatics Swim Instructor certification. This training is provided upon hire.
A current StarGuard Lifeguard license and/or previous instructor experience is preferred.

Sunset and Mill Creek pools are also seeking lifeguards to keep their swimmers safe.
Potential guards must be at least 16 and possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications. Training is provided upon hire.
