Underage Sales, Thefts Among Geneva Police Crime Reports

A man was arrested Tuesday, March 3 in Geneva on a warrant stemming from an August 2019 identity theft case.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Police Department responded to these recently reported crime incidents:

Sale of vape products to person(s) under 21

Santiago J. Carrasco Y Lee was arrested Feb. 27 on accusations of selling vape products to a person or persons under 21 years old. He was arrested in the 500 block of S. 3rd Street, Suite 101, the address of Burning Leaf Cigars, according to Google Maps. He faces one count of sale of vape products to persons under 21.

Sale of vape products to person(s) under 21

Michael T. Harazin, was arrested Feb. 27 on accusations of selling vape products to a person or persons under 21 years old. He was arrested in the 1400 block of E. State Street, the address of Family Pantry, according to Google Maps. He faces one count of sale of vape products to persons under 21.

Jimmy Wriddley was arrested March 3 on a warrant for identify theft, stemming from an incident on Aug. 30, 2019. According to Kane County court records, Wriddley's bond was set by a Kane County judge on March 3 for 10 percent of $50,000. He faces one count of felony identity theft.

Public urination

James A. Jech was arrested Saturday in the 300 block of James Street on accusations of urinating in public. According to police reports, Jech was not under the influence of alcohol. He faces one count of urination in public.

Retail theft

Connie T. Mazur was arrested March 4 on site at the Geneva Police Department on accusations of retail theft stemming from what Kane County court records indicate was a Dec. 22, 2019 incident at an At Home store located in the 2100 block of Randall Road in Geneva. She faces two retail theft charges and has been ordered no entry at the Randall Road business. According to court records, her plea hearing is scheduled for April 10.
