Will You be the One to Step Up for Dino?

Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Needed for one AMAZING dog!

Let me tell you about an amazing dog! Dino came to Safe Haven after spending 500 days in the shelter. He was nervous, scared of people and new experiences – and everything was a new experience for him. Dino was lucky though – he ended up with a fantastic foster family that worked with him every day. With lots of time, treats, love, patience and positive reinforcement Dino blossomed into the great dog he was meant to be! He loves twice daily walks and no longer pulls like a mad man. He lives with kids ages 2-9 and is sweet and gentle with them. Dino greets new people with a tail wag. He might be 50lbs but he thinks he’s a lap dog and loves a good snuggle. He’s come SO far from the dog he was just a few months ago. We love success stories – it’s what fostering is all about!

Dino’s wonderful foster family is leaving on a summer long trip and we need a new foster or foster-to-adopt home for Dino. If we can’t find one he’ll have to go into boarding. ☹ Dino has made so much progress the last three months and we don’t want to see him regress into the scared nervous guy he was in the shelter.

Dino is crate and house trained. He’s about 2 years old and neutered. Dino gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. He can climb fences so a tie out needs to be used in the yard. Dino would do best with someone who can walk or run with him at least once a day. He’s an amazing dog who can’t wait to find his forever home!
