Your Guide To Christmas Walk In Geneva
The Christmas Walk, Holiday House Tour and Steeple Walk will be held Dec. 6 to 8 in Geneva.

GENEVA, IL – Geneva will ring in the season in style during this weekend's Christmas Walk. Among the highlights of the weekend, which gets underway Friday and continues through Sunday, is the arrival of Santa Claus and the lighting of the great tree in downtown Geneva, a live nativity, strolling carolers, the holiday house tour, steeple walk and a candy cane parade. We've highlighted some of the events worth checking out below

Christmas Walk

- When: 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6
- Where: The festivities kick off at the Courthouse Square in downtown
- Details: It all starts with the arrival of Santa Lucia, the first candy cane of the season, and Santa lighting the great tree – and continues with roasted chestnuts, strolling carolers, a live nativity, visits with Santa, and free carriage rides on Saturday and Sunday.

Holiday House Tour
- When: 10 a.m. to 8p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7
- Where: The festivities kick off at the Courthouse Square in downtown
- Details: Tour five spectacular homes decked with boughs of holly and festive Christmas décor. Tickets are $35 each and include a traditional holiday tea at the First Congregational Church at 327 Hamilton Street from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The steeple walk, which will be held on Sunday, has sold out.
