23 New Coronavirus Cases In Past Week In Glen Ellyn
Glen Ellyn has seen 3,176 coronavirus cases since March 2020, according to DuPage County Health Department.
GLEN ELLYN, IL —In Glen Ellyn, the number of coronavirus cases has increased by 23 cases in the past seven days, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). The numbers reflect a slight decrease over the previous week, in which Glen Ellyn saw 28 new coronavirus cases.
On May 4, the village had reported 3,153 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 3,176 as of May 11, reflecting an overall increase of less than .7 percent. The previous week's increase was just under .9 percent.
DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. In Glen Ellyn, there have been 223 probable coronavirus cases. Including probable cases, the total coronavirus case count for Glen Ellyn is at 3,399.
