Nearly 8,000 Glen Ellyn Homeowners are Mortgage-Free
Crain's Chicago Business reports 29 percent of homeowners own their homes outright.

Chicago suburbs with a large senior citizen propulation or high median incomes tend to have the highest percentages of mortgage-free homes, according toCrain's Chicago Business.
According to a Crain's analysis, 7,987 Glen Ellyn homeowners, or 29 percent, are mortgage-free. Crain's reports nearly 26 percent of all homeowners in the Chicago area are mortgage-free.
