Are You a Tiger Mother?

The place where moms talk.

In her new memoir, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, writer Amy Chua has stirred up a proverbial hornets nest in the world of parenting. What Chua calls the "Chinese Mother" style of parenting focuses on being strict and demanding perfection. One example is that Chua said she considers an A- to be a bad grade.

The memoir has received positive and negative feedback from parents—from those who think her style would benefit kids and those who believe it is essentially an abusive parenting style.

So, moms, what do you think?
